I was asked to pay for a separate nurse consult fee for what was supposed to be a microchip appointment only for my 3 month old kitten. I was not informed of this until afterwards. I was invoiced for the microchip appointment ONLY which I had paid for in full, and was literally about to leave the premises with one foot out the door before the nurse came back out and told me I would have to pay an additional fee for a supposed “nurse consult”. The nurse claimed that this was because the appointment took longer because she gave me advice WHEN SHE WAS THE ONE WHO INITIATED MOST OF THE CONVERSATION. I just wanted my cat microchipped, and in the politest way possible, I did not need to hear her go on and on about the other IRRELEVANT procedures offered by the practice. She also added to the “extra” time incurred by going downstairs to ask her supervisor if there was a minimum weight/age requirement for cats to get microchipped - even I knew that the answer to this was NO, it’s a simple google search away, so it’s astonishing to me that a veterinary care professional was not aware of this. It is truly beyond me how the staff at this practice think it’s acceptable to swindle their customers into paying an additional charge for unhelpful and unsolicited advice. All the while, my cat was distressed and meowing really loudly so I honestly really just wanted to get it over with and leave ASAP. I am seriously doubting whether or not I should return to this practice and entrust my cat’s health to this vet. Reading the recent reviews, I can see that many others were also disappointed in the level of care they received as well. I am considering registering at the St John’s Wood branch or possibly Medivet instead. Update: Don't trust these responses from the owner. I emailed them on their complaints email address immediately after my horrible experience, so it's hilarious that they're now here on Google reviews acting like they don't know who I am. I would suggest registering your pet with RVC Beaumont - they were much more knowledgeable and the nurse didn't have to run back and forth to check basic google-able information like whether a kitten could be microchipped, or waste my time with irrelevant advice that they then tried to charge me extra for. The experience was truly night and day.

It was our first time meeting Vet, Dr Sacha and she was so warm and welcoming from the very start. Leo felt completely at ease with her and even came over to her for companionship, which was genuinely heartwarming to see. His confidence at Village Vet Hampstead/Belsize has grown so much, and we’re incredibly grateful to Dr Sacha and the whole team for making every visit feel so positive and reassuring and, above all, for always taking such wonderful care of Leo’s health. Thank you ❤️

I would like to say a massive thank you to both the receptionist and the vet, Chrystalla Andreou, who looked after my dog Rex on the evening of 14/09. Both were incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. Rex is a very nervous dog, and they were so patient and gentle with him, which made such a difference. They took the time to make him feel as comfortable as possible and were also very informative, explaining everything clearly and reassuringly. I really appreciate the care and compassion they showed towards Rex. It’s lovely to know he was in such kind and capable hands. Thank you both so much for your patience, kindness and excellent care. It was very much appreciated!

One of the best vets I have been to. The team were amazing, they understood me and kept my malamute very comfortable. Extremely patient with her, your staff are amazing. Highly highly recommended. My malamute is now registered here instead of her other vet (medivet Hampstead) who were horrendous and received a lengthy complaint from me. Thank you so much for seeing me on such short notice, for allowing her prescription to be sent over from her other vet and for being wonderful people

recently brought my two cats to this veterinary clinic after having a not-so-good experience at another one, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the care we received here. From the moment we arrived, the reception team was incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. They made the whole visit feel calm and reassuring, which means a lot when you’re worried about your pets. Justin and Chloe were absolutely wonderful. They treated my cats with so much gentleness, patience, and genuine care — exactly the way I would hope someone would handle my animals. It really felt like they understood that pets are family. Their professionalism was clear throughout the whole appointment, but what stood out even more was how human and compassionate they were, both with my cats and with me. After my previous experience elsewhere, I was quite nervous about going to another vet, but they completely restored my trust. I truly felt that my cats were in the best possible hands. Thank you, Justin, Chloe, and the lovely reception team for taking such great care of us. I’m very grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a vet who combines professionalism with genuine kindness.

We had a great experience with Jonas during Bella’s orthopedic visit. He was kind, patient, and very gentle with her, which immediately put us at ease. He explained everything clearly and took the time to answer our questions, making sure we understood Bella’s condition and the next steps. We really appreciated his calm and caring approach.
